Seed And Ripple

Plant your seed. Create your ripple.

Welcome to Seed And Ripple.

I’m Shana Franklin, a proud Narungga woman, mum, facilitator, storyteller and community builder.

Seed And Ripple was born from a simple truth:

Too many of us are carrying too much.

After years working in leadership, community, workforce development and Aboriginal affairs, I found myself asking the same questions I hear from so many others:

How do we keep showing up without losing ourselves?

This space exists for the people navigating motherhood, leadership, burnout, change, identity and everything in between.

Through workshops, facilitation, consultancy, reflective practice and wellbeing resources, I create spaces for honest conversations, deep reflection and meaningful growth.

Come as you are - messy, tired, powerful, uncertain, evolving - all of you is welcome here.

Plant your seed. Create your ripple.

About Us

  • Seed And Ripple is a culturally grounded wellbeing, facilitation and reflection space created to help people slow down, reconnect and come back to themselves.

Working alongside individuals, communities, teams and workplaces, Seed And Ripple offers facilitation, workshops, reflective spaces and wellbeing resources designed to support connection, growth and meaningful change.

Through facilitation, affirmation tools, journals and creative resources, this work is about creating simple, real moments to pause, reflect and reconnect in everyday life.

At its heart, Seed And Ripple is about becoming not rushing, not performing and creating a safe space to figure things out as you go.

  • Shana Franklin is a proud Narungga woman with roots across the Yorke Peninsula, Adelaide and South Australia, now living and working on Wurundjeri Country in Melbourne.

A mum, facilitator, speaker and community-focused leader, Shana brings over 15 years experience working across Aboriginal community in housing, court systems, child protection, justice, workforce, wellbeing and engagement spaces. Her work has always centred around people, culture, connection and creating spaces where others feel seen, safe and supported.

But the deeper story behind Seed And Ripple began outside of formal roles and workplaces.

It began in everyday life, in the quiet moments of overwhelm, in conversations with women, mums, mob and community, and in noticing how many people were carrying so much while still continuing to show up for everyone around them.

Out of that reality came writing. Affirmations, reflections and reminders created from lived experience for the moments where life felt heavy, uncertain or full.

When those words began to be shared, they resonated. What started as something personal slowly became something collective.

That reflection became the foundation of Seed And Ripple, a space grounded in the belief that when people are given permission to slow down, reconnect with themselves and feel supported in who they are, that impact doesn’t stay contained. A seed is planted. It flows outward into families, workplaces, communities and everyday life and that is the ripple.

  • Seed And Ripple works alongside individuals, communities, teams and workplaces through facilitation, consultancy, workshops, reflective practice, cultural learning and wellbeing resources designed to support connection, reflection and meaningful change.

Sessions can be tailored for councils, women’s groups, sporting groups, community organisations, Aboriginal organisations, schools, early years services, government teams and workplaces navigating growth, change, wellbeing, culture and connection.

Signature Workshops

Seed & Ripple creates spaces to pause, have a yarn and unpack some of the things we all carry - without judgement or pressure to have it all figured out.

Our workshops are grounded in a trauma-informed approach, recognising that reflection can feel uncomfortable, there is no pressure to share more than you're comfortable with but also acknowledging that meaningful growth often begins when we create space to slow down and listen to ourselves. You're invited to engage in a way that feels right for you.

Whether you're looking to reconnect, reset, strengthen your team or spark honest conversation, these workshops are designed to leave people feeling a little lighter, more connected and better equipped to move forward.

  • We’ll re-build the foundation together.

This workshop creates space to pause, reflect and reconnect with who you are and where you're heading.

Through guided reflection (not meditation), conversation and creative visioning, we'll explore what matters most to you, what you're ready to grow and what you might be ready to leave behind.

Expect honest conversations, quiet moments, meaningful insights and a tangible reminder of the future you're creating.

Perfect for anyone feeling a shift, standing at a crossroads or simply wanting to reconnect with themselves and their intentions.

  • The words we tell ourselves matter.

Many of us carry stories, beliefs and expectations that shape how we move through the world - often without even realising it.

This workshop creates space to slow down and notice that inner dialogue with curiosity rather than judgement. Through guided reflection (not meditation), conversation and practical activities, we'll explore the messages we carry, where they come from and whether they're still serving us.

You'll walk away with greater self-awareness, practical tools and affirmations that reflect who you are and how you want to show up in the world.

  • Sometimes life asks a lot of us.

When life feels like a lot, this workshop offers permission to pause.

Together we'll create space to check in, reflect and explore some of the things we carry every day — the expectations, responsibilities, mental load and pressure that can leave us feeling stretched too thin.

Through guided reflection (not meditation), honest conversation and practical activities, we'll unpack what's taking up space, reconnect with what matters most and explore simple, realistic ways to navigate overwhelm in everyday life.

Expect real conversations, practical tools, a few light bulb moments and simple strategies you can take straight back into everyday life. The goal isn't to leave with everything figured out — it's to walk away feeling a little lighter, more connected and better equipped for whatever comes next.

  • Your space. Your pace. Your season.

Sometimes you don’t need a workshop you just need space to talk, reflect and be supported where you’re at.

These 1:1 sessions are gentle, real and grounded. Whether you’re navigating overwhelm, identity shifts, motherhood, or just feeling a bit stuck, this is a space to unpack things and reconnect with yourself.

We can draw on journaling, reflection, affirmations, or just have a good yarn, whatever feels right for you.

No pressure. No expectations. Just support.
